Time Travel Possibilities
Hawking believes that Einstein’s theories of
relativity will one day be obsolete- but he
does believe time travel is possible.
Hawking says that at some point in the
future, space travel will be so fast, that one
day on a spaceship could equate to one
year on Earth. Because of this, Hawking
believes that time travel will only be
possible moving forward, so unfortunately,
no Back to the Future moments under this
theory.

Time Travel Possibilities
In his “special theory of relativity”,
Einstein showed how time changes
with motion. Since time is relative to
the speed that one is traveling, there
cannot be a fixed time for the entire
universe.
Other experts, like theoretical physicist Dr. Michio Kaku, host of the Science Channel’s, Sci Fi Science: Physics of the Impossible argues that there is a loophole in Einstein’s equation that allows for time travel.
